TMD Engineers is a mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) consulting engineering firm. Robert Thomas is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is active in the Houston BOMA chapter where he sits on three committees and is chairman of the Green Committee. He is a member of ASHRAE and has been active on the Construction Industry Council. Mr. Thomas has more than ten years of experience in MEP Design Consulting. He has been involved in many different types of construction projects including: commercial, educational, institutional, religious, retail, medical and hospitality. He has extensive knowledge of MEP building system design as it relates to multiple building types. Mr. Thomas has performed energy reviews for numerous commercial buildings and has been personally involved with Energy Star Labeling of more than 50 buildings in the Houston Area.

Along with his MEP design and Energy Star experience, he also has experience with LEED-NC, LEED-CI, LEED-CS and LEED-EB project requirements and documentation. He has been involved with the design and construction of several LEED projects in the Houston Area.

Brian Dunne is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Brian graduated from Rice University and has been an MEP engineer in Houston for 8 years with experience in Commercial Office, Corporate Build-to-suit, Warehouse, Retail, Food Service, Educational, Liturgical and Assembly, Hospitality, Residential, I.T Facility, Healthcare and Medical Office construction and renovation projects.

Mr. Dunne is currently responsible for all LEED-EBOM projects and construction documentation for TMD Engineers.  He is involved in the certification of more than 17 existing buildings throughout the US.  These buildings encompass more than 15 million square feet of spaces.
